Graduating from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994, I served as a medical practitioner, acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist at Shanghai No.6 People’s Hospital—one of the top ten hospitals in China—for a decade. During this tenure, I dedicated myself to clinical work, research and disease prevention, earning the titles of “Outstanding Resident Physician” and “Outstanding General Resident Physician”. By integrating traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and modern medical approaches in clinical practice, I successfully treated numerous patients and gained their sincere respect and trust. I also mentored many medical students, particularly international learners, in the art and science of acupuncture, sharing my professional expertise to promote TCM acupuncture globally and benefit more people worldwide.

Additionally, I contributed to the compilation of medical works including Myth of Taking Tonics and Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medical Science of Gynecology.

Since 2003, I have been practicing TCM and acupuncture in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With over 32 years of dedicated experience in TCM and integrative medicine, my professional achievements have led to my appointment as a Board Member of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society of Australia (CMASA), as well as a Fellow of CMASA and the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).

I am a recognized provider for major private health funds including Bupa, Medibank Private, HCF, NIB and AHM.
